Boxes are elements that contain other elements.


Creating a box


To create a new box in your project is quite simple. The first step is to open the menu of "Network expansion" and right after select "Add box".



It will be necessary to add your localization in the map and a new tab will be open, asking for the filling of the following fields:


  • Type: Indicates the type of box, it is responsible for the color that represents the box;

  • Name: A name is suggested atuomatically according to the level of the box. This name can be changed in the moment of creation or after;

  • Template: Indicates which elements will be inside the box;

  • Level: Hierarchical level of the box;

  • Border color: Defines the color that is going to be used in the edge of the box. It is possible to select a new color or keep it according to the standard of the type.

  • Fill color: Defines the color that will fill the representation of the box. In you do not change, the box will be filled with a standard color according to the deployment status of the box.

  • Tags: Allows to atribute a free category to the box, information that you can add one or more elements.

  • Address: Register the address of the box.

  • Deployment Status:

    • In project: If the box is in project, it is not ready to be sold in the system of sales, Loki.

    • Not implanted: Indicates that the box is only projected and is not phisically installed.

    • Implanted: Indicates if the box is phisically installed.

    • Certified: Option used to indicate that the box was checked and everything is alright.

  • Observation: This field is optional and can be used to add information about the box.



Boxes can be added in poles or in random points at the map. If selected one point near to a pole, the system will ask if you wish to connect the box to the pole and this way appear in the path of adjacencies.

 


Furthermore, it is also possible to add multiple boxes simultaneosly, being useful, for example, in case of different boxes that have the same settings. For that, you just have to select the option "Add multiple boxes" in the menu of "Network expansion".



Properties of the boxes


It is possible to edit the settings selected previously and even add more information to your box through the properties, that can be accessed clicking on the "i" icon of the box interior.



In this tab, besides the field mentioned previously, there is also the following options:

  • Latitude and Longitude: These coordinates can be copied in the left button or used as a model to the obtaining of the address in the right button. To generate the address automatically , it is necessary to have a Google API Key.

  • Standard storage: When you set a value in this field, every cable that passes by this box will receive the amount of storage set on its top/bottom boxes.

  • Shared: Allows to indentify if this projects is shared with a parent project.

  • Bond: It will indicate if the box has available equipments for attendance and its occupation.

  • Techinal reserve: In this field it is possible to visualize the list of cables that pass inside this box and atribute a technical reserve individually.


Adding files


It is also possible to add images, audios, videos, text files, CSV and ZIP files in the boxes. You can do it by accessing the side icon responsible for the posts and select "New Post".



Change the pole


You can chage the pole/point of the box by clicking with the right button over it and selecting the option "move" and click on the pole.


This change can be done also by generating an area report: in the tab of boxes, there is the option of connect multiple of these boxes in poles that are in a maximum distance that you will set.



Visualize the name of boxes


To visualize the name of the boxes all at once, you just need to click on the third icon of the vertical blue menu, in "map tools" and select the last option, like in the image below:



Share boxes

 

It is possible to share elements like boxes, condominiums and POPs of a child project to a parent project, with the possibility of visualization and connection of sections of the child project inside the parent.
