The Post is a resource available at  OZmap and it works for recording archives like images, audio, video, text, CSV, and zip archives in each element.

You can add these archives to your poles, cables, boxes, clients, buildings, pendencies, and POPs, besides the POP components, like ODFs, OLTs, switches, etc.

Creating a post

Creating a new post is quite simple, you only need to click on the element you wish to add to the archives and search for this icon on the right side of its properties. Then, click the “New Post” button on the bottom side and start creating your post.

After doing that, the following tab will appear. There, you can add a title, tags, and observations to your post. They’re all optional settings. We recommend the use of it to keep your posts organized, but, if you prefer not to add these information, the post will still be created.

Then, you can add the archives you wish to, selecting files from your computer or dragging the file at the center of the tab. You can add as many files per post as you wish, but it’s important to keep your attention on the storage limit. You can understand better how to access your system storage limit by clicking here.

After you’ve selected the images and inserted the written information, your screen will be presented similarly to the image above. Then, you just need to click on “Save” and your post will be created.

POP Posts

The POP has a different way of documenting. By having multiple components on its inside, it is possible to add posts to each one of them and, for that, you must click on the image icon next to the name. Besides that, the process for the creation and visualization is the same as we already taught before.

Therefore, each cabinet, ODF, OLT, Switch, Splitter, and even the POP will have its own gallery of posts.

Posts Gallery

Now that your posts have been created, it’s time to learn how to work with it. We call the gallery the place where all posts are listed, containing every detail on each archive pack. The way these packs will be visualized can be modified. By clicking on the “+” symbol beside its name, you can expand or retain the details of a post.

When the post is retained, the information that will be presented is: who created the post, the creation date, the time, and the name of the project.

On the full posts, you can visualize the title and the creation date. Right below there’s the username of who created it, next to the date and time of the action. In case there are tags or observations, they will be presented right below it, in this same order.

At the right superior corner of the post, we got the download icon, which will gather all archives and download them compacted in a .zip archive. Right aside from it, there's the deletion icon, where the post will be deleted permanently.

Finally, we got all the archives together. If you have many items uploaded, it is quite simple to move the posts using the lateral arrows.

In case you need to visualize better an element, it’s possible to click to expand it. After expanded, you can download the archives individually clicking again on them or using the “Download archive” button, on the left superior side.

It is also possible to edit or remove elements on a post without needing to delete everything and create a new post. For that, you must select the corresponding buttons located at the left superior corner on the tab, right beside the “Download archive” icon, selecting the archive for the substitution or deleting an unneeded element.

Filters

Right at the start of the gallery, you get the filter icon, where you can filter your posts by their tags or creation date. To activate you must click on the indicated box, choose your settings, and click on “Apply”. Every filter can be combined, and then you can select simultaneously a date on one or more tags for analysis, and all posts presented will be those who got created in that period and containing or not the selected tags.

The filter will be removed by closing the box, but you can also stop using it by clicking on the “Clear” button, located aside from the “Apply” button.

Post Import

In case you’re importing new elements, it is also possible to import archives with them. You must then add the archive URL to the corresponding column in your CSV table. It’s important to reinforce that the importation can only be done with new items, not being possible to attribute imported archives in case they already exist on OZmap
