With the pendencies feature, it is possible to establish points on the map that have tasks and can be assigned to a specific user existing in the system. The distinctive feature is that these pendencies are visible and editable at OZmob as well, greatly facilitating fieldwork (click here to learn more about this feature within OZmob).
To add a new pendency to the map, select the "Add Pendency" option in the side menu:
Then, simply select a point on the map, and an editing window will appear, allowing you to configure this new pendency.
The fields that can be filled out are:
Name: The name can be added freely. It is an optional field, but if nothing is entered, the system automatically generates the name based on the type of pendency added to the position number.
Type: Determines the nature of that pendency. By default, the "Standard" type will already be created in your system, but it is possible to create various types of pendencies according to the usage needs. The type is not optional, so before creating your pendencies, ensure they are configured correctly. To learn how to create new types, click here.
Tags: Here, you can create specific tags and assign them to pendencies that have particular characteristics or use already created tags. This is a free and optional category where you can register any type of information for your elements.
Responsibles: In this field, you must select the users who will be responsible for handling the pendency. It is a mandatory field, but you should ensure that the user has the "layer.pendencies" permission in their respective role to be able to visualize them on the map.
Color: It is an optional field where you can either maintain the color according to the type of pendency or assign a new one according to your preference.
Description: In the description, you can add any information important for documentation and task completion.
After filling out the information, simply click on "Confirm" to create your pendency.
On the map, it will appear with an icon similar to the one in the image below, and you can view its name by hovering the cursor over it.
It's worth noting that to make the pendencies visible on the map, it is necessary to activate the layer in the side:
To edit any information, add a post, or mark it as resolved, you need to click on the pendency that will be modified, and a new window will open. In the case of a resolved pendency, you must go to the "Solved" field and check the box next to it.
Pendencies Tab
It is also possible to view all the registered pendencies in the system spread across the map, without distinguishing between projects. To do this, access the fourth option in the main side menu, under the "Pendencies" tab.
Once the tab is selected, a filter window is also displayed:
The filters serve to facilitate the search for pendencies. So, if the user wants to view all the "unresolved" pendencies in the system, for example, they just need to select the "status" filter and apply it, and the listing will update to show only those that match the search:
Double-clicking on a pendency in the listing will zoom in and center the map, showing a summary of the data registered in it. It is also possible to be redirected to the project to which the pendency belongs by selecting the "Go to project" option:
Another tool available in the pendencies tab is the map layer. In it, you can select the type of map display, overlays if there are any registered in the system, project areas, and the status of pendencies as "solved" or "not solved".
Export Pendencies
Pendencies also appear with all information in the area report (if you have questions on how to perform this action, click here). You can export them in CSV and XLS formats by selecting the "pendencies" tab followed by "export," as shown in the image below:
Adding Files
You can also attach images, audio, video, text, CSV, and zip files to your pendencies. To do this, simply access the side icon for posts and select "New post."

Convert to element
It is possible to transform the pendencies into elements; just click on the "Convert" button and select the element you want to transform this pendency into.
