OZmap has a dashboard that will help you monitor your network, allowing you to understand all the elements that make up your projects.

The dashboard is a panel that displays your network data in graphical form, such as the number of elements, occupancy of boxes, etc. This information is updated every night, so changes made on one day will only appear on the dashboard the next day.

To access yours, you must go to the left-side menu and click on the "Dashboard" option.

Dashboard Settings

There are a few settings that allow you to view the dashboard in different ways:

  • Here you can check the data of the projects that are active within OZmap, choosing to view them by projects or all projects together (1), in addition to being able to select several projects to obtain their information collectively.

  • In inactive projects, you can select projects that have already been deleted to check their data, and you can choose to view only inactive projects, or both inactive and active projects together. This is possible because the dashboard has access to a historical OZmap database.

  • In Pops (2) you can select which POPs you want to view information for in the “Equipment in POPs” graph.

  • The next icon allows you to view your dashboard data by period, making it easier to monitor your network (3). This allows you to customize the period you want to view the data. On the left side, you can add the start date (from) and end date (to) that you want to view. Then, simply click on "Apply time range" to apply this filter to your dashboard.

On the right side, you can select a predefined time range for collecting information. For example, if you select "Last 7 days", only information from the last 7 days will be displayed on the dashboard.

  • By clicking on icon4 , you can see the range of the data being viewed in the graphs.

  • Another option is to view the dashboard more objectively, remove visual elements to emphasize the graphs, and activate using icon 5. When you click this button for the first time, it will remove the sidebar on the left, and clicking it again will remove the icons at the top. To return to the initial state, you must use the "Esc" key

Interpreting the graphs

In the clients tab, you can check the implementation status of the clients registered in your OZmap, the number of new and removed clients, and the total number of clients in your OZmap each day.

The graph of removed clients only considers clients who have been completely removed from OZmap, along with their respective properties. This count only covers total removals, not other forms of changes or partial deactivations.

For cables, you can check the total mileage according to the deployment status, as well as the total mileage of each cable level (presented in pie and line chart format). You can also view the total mileage of each cable type and the cable occupancy according to the corresponding level, considering the number of free and occupied fibers.

In the box register panel, you can view the total number of box registers, categorized according to their deployment status. You can also check the number of box registers divided by level (presented in pie and line charts), the number of box registers by type, and the occupancy percentage of each level, considering the number of service equipment inside them.

In the general tab, we have information about the occupation of service ports, PON ports, the quantity of each device within the POP, and information about the posts, including the quantity in use, unused, and the total number of registered posts.

The service port occupancy chart does not take into account the occupancy of condominiums, only of the boxes. In addition, the total value of occupied ports is calculated taking into account the equipment that has the "allows connection to client" property activated. Therefore, the occupancy can include any type of connection, not limited to clients only.

For poles, the “in use” information takes into account whether there is a cable running through it. If there is a cable connected to the pole, it will be counted as “in use”. Otherwise, the pole will be classified as “not in use”.

All graphs are accompanied by legends to aid in the interpretation of the data.

Right at the beginning of the line, we have a dash that indicates the color that this category is representing in the graph, followed by the category title and the information "value", representing the total value of each piece of information.

You can also customize the information by double-clicking on the color line. It can be changed according to your preference. In addition, by clicking on the category name, it can be temporarily removed from the graph view, in the case of pie graphs, or viewed individually with more details, in the case of line graphs.

By hovering your mouse over the “i” next to the title of each graph you can see what the graph represents.
