The best option for your field team to view the project or cable route is through OZmob, our app that allows you to access your network information from anywhere.

To make sure the technical team can only view the route and elements — without making unwanted changes — we recommend creating users with the “Monitor” role.

This profile has view-only permissions, and you can grant access only to the projects you choose.

If a printed version is needed, another option is to export your project (or part of it) in KML format and share the file with the responsible team, or import it into Google Earth to print the map properly.

To learn more about the formats and information you can export from OZmap, check out our previous tip on what can be exported from OZmap.

How to print your project using Google Earth

  • Export your project in KML format from OZmap.
  • Import the file into Google Earth.
  • Click the “Print” button, as shown in the example image below.

Before printing, you can adjust the legend, map style, and which elements will appear in the printout.

After setting everything as desired, click “Print” and your map will be printed.
