In OZloc, there are two types of feasibility available: by radius and by poles. In this article, we’ll focus on feasibility by poles, but you can learn more about feasibility by radius here.
For feasibility by poles to work properly, your poles must be properly documented in OZmap and configured to allow sales. In addition, they must have adjacencies so the system can automatically generate the customer’s drop.

With your poles properly configured, we can proceed with the feasibility check.
Once the search is performed, the location will be loaded on the map along with all poles and gated communities near the defined area. If the address doesn’t exist on the map or any other issue occurs, check out our article on how to request the customer’s location using Findme.
On the left panel of your screen, the poles will be displayed along with their respective names and notes. On the bottom panel, you’ll see the gated communities and properties. You can learn more about this in our article on sales in gated communities.

Selecting the connector pole
Now you need to select the pole where the customer’s drop connection will be made. This can be done either by clicking one of the poles on the map or by selecting it from the list of poles and boxes on the left side of the screen.
In this list, when you hover over a name, the corresponding element will be highlighted in yellow. If it’s the one you want, click to select it.
After choosing the pole, it’s time to select the box from which the drop will come.
This selection can also be made directly on the map or by using the names of the boxes listed on the left side of the screen.

Closing the sale
Once the pole and the box have been selected, a window will appear asking for the customer’s information to confirm the sale.

After filling in the client’s information, click “Confirm” to create the client in OZmap.
The client’s sketch will be automatically generated based on the adjacencies defined in the project within OZmap.
After this confirmation, an email will be sent to the installation team containing the client’s sketch and location details, completing the sales process.
Below, you can see the information from the final screen that will be included in the email.

Feasibility in properties
After selecting the poles, if there’s a property without a client that already has a drop within the defined search area, you’ll be able to pick it. Keep in mind that sales in properties are only possible if you have the “Consider occupied port by property as free port” option enabled in your OZmap settings.

The system will utilize the existing data associated with that property, including the drop cable, and will add the new client with their specific details.

Sale without feasibility
If the system finds only boxes without feasibility, a window will open showing the box information and the reason for the infeasibility, as shown in the image below.
